1 LeBron James
Miami Heat
Rating: 99
Scoring: A+
Shooting: A-
Driving: A+
Passing: A
Rebounding: A-
Defense: A+
"IT" Factor: A-
The only reason why LeBron isn't the best player in the NBA is because he is afraid of the moment. Other than that, LeBron has a ton of talent and is as good if not better than anyone in the NBA, but he only beats himself.
2 Kevin Durant
Oklahoma City Thunder
Rating: 98
Scoring: A+
Shooting: A
Driving: A-
Passing: B+
Rebounding: A-
Defense: A-
"IT" Factor: A
I believe Durant is only a year away from becoming the best player in the NBA. He is unselfish and he gets it done when his team needs him. He is a quiet leader and a quiet superstar.
3 Carmelo Anthony
New York Knicks
Rating: 98
Scoring: A+
Shooting: A
Driving: A
Passing: C+
Rebounding: A-
Defense: A-
"IT" Factor: A-
Anthony is as good of a scorer than anyone in this league. Period. He is a Kobe Bryant like talent and his teams have proven that they can succeed. But now that Anthony has a partner unlike any he has had before in Amare Stoudemire, he must now take the next step and become a really elite player by leading the Knicks to Conference and NBA Championships.
4 Paul Pierce
Boston Celtics
Rating: 96
Scoring: A
Shooting: A
Driving: A-
Passing: B
Rebounding: B+
Defense: A
"IT" Factor: A
Paul Pierce has proven himself on the biggest stages and even as he gets older, Pierce is still an exceptional scorer and a very good defender. Pierce has a few good years left in him.
5 Danny Granger
Indiana Pacers
Rating: 93
Scoring: A-
Shooting: A-
Driving: A-
Passing: B
Rebounding: B+
Defense: A-
"IT" Factor: A-
Granger finally guided the Pacers into the playoffs. The Pacers have a solid young core and Granger is the center piece. He is not a star player yet, but he is certainly a star in the making.
6 Rudy Gay
Memphis Grizzlies
Rating: 90
Scoring: A-
Shooting: B
Driving: A-
Passing: B
Rebounding: A-
Defense: A
"IT" Factor: A-
The Grizzlies are a very young and talented team and Gay is a very young and talented player. He is a great defender that goes along with a solid offensive game. When healthy, Gay is one of the games top young players.
7 Luol Deng
Chicago Bulls
Rating: 88
Scoring: A-
Shooting: A-
Driving: B+
Passing: B+
Rebounding: A-
Defense: A
"IT" Factor: A-
Luol Deng was very good this past season for the Bulls but in the playoffs he wasn't quite the same player. Deng is still improving little by little and if he could pick up the slack a little more off of Derrick Rose than Deng can assert himself as a star player.
8 Gerald Wallace
Portland Trailblazers
Rating: 87
Scoring: B+
Shooting: B
Driving: A-
Passing: B+
Rebounding: A
Defense: A+
"IT" Factor: A-
Gerald Wallace was really productive for Portland after coming over from Charlotte. Wallace might be the best defender out of the small forwards and his defense sparks his offense.
9 Dorrell Wright
Golden State Warriors
Rating: 86
Scoring: B+
Shooting: B+
Driving: B+
Passing: B-
Rebounding: B+
Defense: B+
"IT" Factor: B+
The Warriors have many young pieces and Wright is one of them. He is a legitimate scorer. If the Warriors continue to make strides, Wright will be earning himself All-Star selections.
10 Wilson Chandler
Denver Nuggets
Rating: 85
Scoring: B+
Shooting: A-
Driving: B+
Passing: B
Rebounding: A-
Defense: B+
"IT" Factor: B+
I can't decide whether Wilson Chandler is underrated or overrated. He produces no doubt, but there always seems to be something missing. Nonetheless, he was an important part to the Nuggets run to the playoffs after the departure of Carmelo Anthony.
