College Football- Week 1 Predictions

College Football has arrived. Here are my predictions for week one of the season.

14 TCU v.s. Baylor
This is not an easy game by any means for TCU. Baylor has Robert Griffin III to carry them, but he cannot carry them to an upset win over the Horned Frogs.
TCU 31-21

BYU v.s. Ole Miss
BYU will be better this year, but they are not going to Ole Miss and getting a victory.
Ole Miss 28-17

Colorado v.s. Hawaii
Colorado may have just joined the Pac-12, but that doesn't mean that they will be able to stop Bryant Moniz and the Warriors.
Hawaii 38-20

Miami v.s. Maryland
After all the scandal, Miami finally takes the field. Miami still doesn't even know who is eligible and who isn't. But I think they find a way to steal a win in Maryland.
Miami 23-20

Tulsa v.s. Oklahoma
This would be an unbelievable upset and even though Tulsa is a solid football team, I just can't see it happening.
Oklahoma 37-24

5 Boise State v.s. 19 Georgia
Every game is a must win for Boise State if they want to have a chance at the national title game. Georgia of course is one of the better teams in the SEC. However, Georgia does not have enough defense to slow down Heisman candidate Kellen Moore which is why Boise State takes the first step to a possible BCS National Title Game.
Boise State 27-19

Game of the Week
3 Oregon v.s. 4 LSU
Oregon is looking to get back to the National Title Game while LSU is trying to win while there is controversy swirling around the team. Quarterback Jarrett Lee is now the starter for suspended Jordan Jefferson. I don't think Lee will hurt the Tigers, he is much more mature now than he was a couple of years ago. But this game will come down to whether Lee and the Tigers offense puts up enough points to beat the Ducks. LSU has a stellar defense and they will slow down Oregon's high octane offense, but will Lee make enough big plays for LSU to beat Oregon? Not quite.
Oregon 24-20
