Rose is the most dynamic point guard in the NBA today. Although Chris Paul and Deron Williams are better pure point guards because their pass first point guards, Rose has the ability to take over a game better than anyone point guard in the NBA, which is why he is number one.

Every since coming back from injury, Paul has returned to top form and has proven why he is one of the best players in the game today. He makes his teammates better around him and he has proven he can take over any type of game like Game 1 against the Lakers this past postseason.
3 Deron Williams
New Jersey Nets

Williams has a complete game and he is now the center piece of the New Jersey Nets. If you put good players around Williams, he will lead his team to the playoffs year after year like he did in Utah.
4 Rajon Rondo

Rondo has the most unique game of any point guard in the league. He can't shoot, but he possesses raw ability to penetrate, pass, rebound and defend which makes Rondo a premier point guard.
5 Russell Westbrook

Westbrook seems a little bit too selfish at times but that being said, any point guard that can put explosive point totals up while running the offense is always a threat. Westbrook will many great years ahead of him.
6 Steve Nash

Nash isn't much different from when he won back to back MVP's. He can be very valuable for a contending team, but he is not a long term investment. That being said, Nash remains one of the game's top point guards.

Curry can score and run a high octane offense as good as anyone in the NBA. He's lean and mean and he can take over games. He's only 23 too.

Tyreke Evans has shown that he is a consistent scorer and a productive point guard in the NBA. Now, as Sacramento starts to piece players around Evans, he will be looked upon to take them to the next level.

Tony Parker may be leaving San Antonio and although he isn't quite as high on this last as he was two or three years ago, Parker still can get it done and he is still only 29 years old.
