Tomas Vokoun, Washington Capitals
Vokoun has kept the Capitals from being an utter disaster, posting solid numbers in goal along with a nice winning percentage.
CR: 83
19
Cory Schneider, Vancouver Canucks
Schneider is proving that he is more consistent than his teammate Roberto Luongo, leaving the Canucks with questions as to who is their playoff goaltender.
CR: 83
18
Jean-Sebastian Giguere, Colorado Avalanche
The veteran goalie is having a great year for possibly playoff bound Colorado, posting the eight best goals against average thus far along with a .925 save percentage.
CR: 83
17
Ilya Bryzgalov, Philadelphia Flyers
Oh how some of the mighty have fallen. Bryzgalov is having a tough year in his first season in Philly, but that doesn't mean I would want to face him and his Flyers in the playoffs if he plays like he did during his years in Phoenix.
CR: 85
16
Niklas Backstrom, Minnesota Wild
Backstrom started off this season very strong and though he and the Wild have tailed off, Backstrom still ranks as a solid goaltender.
CR: 86
15
Miikka Kirpusoff, Calgary Flames
Kirpusoff has been great for the Flames this decade and until he retires, he will be thought of as one of the games most consistent and reliable goalies in the league.
CR: 88
14
Cam Ward, Carolina Hurricanes
Maybe it is due to the poor defense around him, but Cam Ward hasn't had a great campaign so far, but he could shoot up this list at any moment if he gets on one of his hot streaks.
CR: 89
13
Antti Niemi, San Jose Sharks
Niemi is very underrated. After all, he only has won a Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks and has had a stellar year and a half in his time with the Sharks.
CR: 89
12
Roberto Luongo, Vancouver Canucks
Luongo, at his best, is simply one of the best. But his streakiness and his mindset put him down on this list.
CR: 89
11
Jaroslav Halak, St. Louis Blues
Halak burst onto the scene during the Canadiens run to the Eastern Conference Finals two years ago and in Halak's time with the Blues, he has been nothing been productive.
CR: 90
10
Ryan Miller, Buffalo Sabres
Miller has been terrible for the Sabres this year, but let's give him the benefit of the doubt. After all, he did suffer a concussion this year. When Miller is at his best, there is no one better, but he hasn't been quite as stellar over the past year or two.
CR: 90
9
Carey Price, Montreal Canadiens
Not an easy goaltender to get by and he is only in his mid 20's. The future is bright for Carey Price and the Canadiens, forget about this year, it's just a down year.
CR: 92
8
Marc-Andre Fleury, Pittsburgh Penguins
Fleury is a playoff seasoned veteran, yet he too is only his mid 20's. Fleury is the backbone of the Penguins.
CR: 93
7
Jimmy Howard, Detroit Red Wings
Howard has more wins than everyone in the NHL this year with 29. He continues to improve which might be the main reason why the Red Wings are atop the Westen Conference.
CR: 93
6
Brian Elliott, St. Louis Blues
Elliott is a definitive Vezina contender and to go along with that, he has the Blues in playoff contention.
CR: 94
5
Tuuka Rask, Boston Bruins
To be honest, his hot headed temper worries me, but you can't argue with his league best .943 save percentage.
CR: 94
4
Pekka Rinne, Nashville Predators
Pekka Rinne was exceptional in the playoffs last year and though he has one of the best defenses in front of him, he faces the likes of Pavel Datsyuk and Jonathan Toews on a nightly basis.
CR: 97
3
Jonathan Quick, Los Angeles Kings
We know he can play and he has all the stats to back it up. He is the most important player for the Kings during the playoffs because he has been the one that has let them down in those key games.
CR: 97
2
Henrik Lundqvist,New York Rangers
Lundqvist is sensational. It's as simple as that. He very well could be this years Tim Thomas, leading the Rangers to the Stanley Cup.
CR: CR
1
Tim Thomas, Boston Bruins
Who else do you want in goal in a big playoff game? Thomas remains the most clutch and stingiest goalie in the NHL.
