MLB Divisional Series Game 1 and 2 Predictions

Tampa Bay Rays v.s. Texas Rangers
Matt Moore
Game 1
Matt Moore v.s. C.J. Wilson
It's Matt Moore's first postseason start and in fact, only his second start ever. He's going up against C.J. Wilson who has experience in pitching in the postseason. The reason why I think the Rays are going to win this game is because one, I believe that the Rays are going to bring their momentum to Texas, who has not been a good playoff team at home of late and two, I have money riding on this game on Tampa, so I'm pulling for them as well.
Tampa Bay 7-4
Jose Valverde

New York Yankees v.s. Detroit Tigers
Game 1
Ivan Nova v.s. Doug Fister
This game will resume in the second inning with Verlander and Sabathia both out of the game. I think that Ivan Nova will not have the same success Matt Moore had in Texas. I believe he will struggle in his first postseason outing, allowing the Tigers to get ahead early. Doug Fister, a very underrated pitcher will keep the Yankees off the board and the Tigers will steal game 1 from the Yankees.
Detroit 6-4
Ryan Braun

Arizona Diamondbacks v.s. Milwaukee Brewers
Game 1
Ian Kennedy v.s. Yovani Gallardo
Milwaukee might have one of the best postseason atmospheres. I don't know if Arizona will be able to handle this atmosphere. It will be important that Arizona does not get down early. Yovani Gallardo can be hit, but I think Milwaukee's offense will be too much after the second and third time around. Milwaukee takes Game 1.
Milwaukee 7-4

St. Louis Cardinals v.s. Philadelphia Phillies
Roy Halladay
Game 1
Kyle Lohse v.s. Roy Halladay
Well, on paper, what pitcher would you take in this matchup? Yeah, you would take Halladay. But this doesn't mean the Cardinals won't hang around. This will be a difficult series for the Phillies and Game 1 will be difficult as well. The Phillies will barely pull out a victory.
Philadelphia 3-2

Tampa Bay Rays v.s. Texas Rangers
Game 2
Evan Longoria - New York Yankees v Tampa Bay Rays
Evan Longoria
James Shields v.s. Derek Holland
The Rays now have the upper hand in the series. They have their best pitcher going against a Texas pitcher that can be whacked. I don't think the Rangers will get shut out again, but you never know because Shields is capable of tossing one every time out. The Rays will hit a couple of home runs and defeat the Rangers as they head back to Tampa up 2-0 in the series.
Tampa Bay 8-2
