NFL Week 5 Predictions

!Upset
*Big Game
**Game of the Week

*Philadelphia Eagles (1-3) v.s. Buffalo Bills (3-1) (PHI -3)
Trent Cole
This is a must win for the Eagles. They need to prove that they can beat a quality opponent and they need to prove that they are not self destructing. Meanwhile for Buffalo, they will need to score because Philadelphia possess matchup nightmares against a very average Buffalo defense. In this game, Michael Vick will limit his mistakes and the Eagles will make a big play or two on defense to get a key win in Buffalo.
Philadelphia 30-27
Spread: Buffalo

Kansas City Chiefs (1-3) v.s. Indianapolis Colts (0-4) (IND -3)
This has to be the week Indy gets a win. They are facing a Kansas City team decimated by injuries and that is reeling with quarterback and coach feuding. Indy hasn't been playing bad football over the past two weeks and I think they put it together today. Curtis Painter has a nice day and grabs his first win as a starter as Indy squeaks it out.
Indianapolis 23-20
Spread: Kansas City

Arizona Cardinals (1-3) v.s. Minnesota Vikings (0-4) (MIN -3)
Larry Fitzgerald
This might be Donovan McNabb's last chance to prove himself in Minnesota. The Vikings are not as bad as their record indicates, but 0-4 is 0-4. Unfortunately, I think Arizona has more motivation to get the win in Minnesota than the Vikings do. Kevin Kolb and Larry Fitzgerald have big days as Arizona moves to 2-3 and Donovan McNabb questions heat up once again.
Arizona 27-17!
Spread: Arizona

Seattle Seahawks (1-3) v.s. New York Giants (3-1) (NYG -10)
The Giants are playing so well that they can't fall into a trap game like this. The Giants must continue to not turn the ball over and get after the quarterback. The Giants win their fourth in a row against a Seattle team that is falling apart.
New York 24-14
Spread: Seattle

*Tennessee Titans (3-1) v.s. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2) (PIT -4)
Lawrence Timmons
I know that the Titans are a trendy upset pick given the fact that Pittsburgh will be without Rashard Mendenhall and Ben Roethlisberger is not 100 percent healthy. The Titans do not have Kenny Britt but Matt Hasselbeck is playing out of his mind and the Titans are playing great defense. All this being said, the Steelers know how to win this gritty games and without a lot of offense, the Steelers will defeat the Titans with defense.
Pittsburgh 17-13
Spread: Tennessee

New Orleans Saints (3-1) v.s. Carolina Panthers (1-3) (NO -7)
Some people say Cam Newton will light up a weak New Orleans pass defense and this will spark Carolina to a victory. Not so fast. Drew Brees and the New Orleans offense will keep the Carolina offense off the field and it will take only one turnover from Cam Newton to put Carolina out of this game. I like Darren Sproles to torment the Carolina defense as New Orleans moves to 4-1.
New Orleans 28-20
Spread: New Orleans

Cincinnati Bengals (2-2) v.s. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-3) (CIN -1)
Jason Campbell
The Bengals have been a pleasant surprise this year while the Jaguars are moving closer and closer to having Jack del Rio fired. The Jaguars will need to run the ball well to take the pressure off of Blaine Gabbert, but I think the underrated Bengals defense will have the Jaguars offense struggling again. Cincinnati moves to 3-2.
Cincinnati 21-14
Spread: Cincinnati

Oakland Raiders (2-2) v.s. Houston Texans (3-1) (HOU -6)
The big factor in this game is that Andre Johnson will not be playing and the Texans offense will have a tougher time scoring. Oakland doesn't have a great defense, so they will need to gear up to stop Arian Foster and put the pressure on Matt Schaub and his second tier receivers. The Raiders will continue to utilize Darren McFadden and as long as Jason Campbell doesn't turn the ball over, I expect the Raiders to honor Al Davis and get a big win in Houston.
Oakland 27-23!
Spread: Oakland

*Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1) v.s. San Francisco 49ers (3-1) (SF -3)
Frank Gore
The Buccaneers are 3-1, but I don't feel like they are playing great football. I do feel that the 49ers are playing very good football. They got a big win last week at Philadelphia and a win this week would separate themselves early from the NFC West pack. I think Jim Harbaugh has changed the culture in San Francisco and they will not have a let down against an overrated Tampa Bay squad.
San Francisco 21-17
Spread: San Francisco

*New York Jets (2-2) v.s. New England Patriots (3-1) (NE -8)
The panic will set in even more if the Jets don't have a good showing in Foxboro today. The Patriots got over their Buffalo loss with a nice win in Oakland last week. The key to this game will come down to whether Mark Sanchez turns the ball over and whether the Jets force a couple turnovers off of Tom Brady. I don't see Brady struggling and I see the Patriots utilizing all of their weapons as the Patriots get by the Jets.
New England 27-14
Spread: New England

San Diego Chargers (3-1) v.s. Denver Broncos (1-3) (SD -4)
Clay Matthews
You never know what to expect from San Diego on a week by week basis. But I think this week, Phillip Rivers will finally have a big day because Denver cannot stop the pass. The cries for Tim Tebow will continue as Kyle Orton can not keep the Denver offense up with the Chargers.
San Diego 34-20
Spread: San Diego

**Green Bay Packers (4-0) v.s. Atlanta Falcons (2-2) (GB -6)
We have a rematch of the divisional matchup from last year. The Packers destroyed the Falcons on that night and the two key elements were the Falcons inability to slow down Aaron Rodgers and the Falcons inability to get big plays against the Packers defense. I don't see it being 48-21, but I don't see Matt Ryan being able to keep up with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers attack.
Green Bay 33-20
Spread: Green Bay
Ndamukong Suh

*Chicago Bears (2-2) v.s. Detroit Lions (4-0) (DET -6)
Ford Field will be rocking when the Bears show up to take on the Lions in their first home Monday Night game in what seems like forever. The Lions are finally relevant. I think it will be up to the defense to set the tone on Monday. The Lions can get behind by three scores again or mark my words, they will not come back agains the Bears. I think the Lions defense will force a turnover early and the Lions will get ahead. If the Lions can find someone to neutralize Matt Forte, this game should be no problem.
Detroit 24-20
Spread: Detroit
