Milwaukee has the 1-0 series edge on St. Louis. Edwin Jackson takes the hill for the Cards and Shawn Marcum takes the hill for the Brewers. A key in this game will be for St. Louis to grab the lead and hold onto it in the first three innings. St. Louis jumped of Zack Greinke early in Game 1, but immediately gave it back on a Ryan Braun two run bomb which brings me to my second key. St. Louis simply cannot give Ryan Braun or Prince Fielder anything to hit. They are hitting too well at this point and they are simply taking games over. Milwaukee's fan will be jacked up once again and if Edwin Jackson does not show good control of the strike zone early, Milwaukee will walk away up 2-0. I believe Jackson will pitch adequate, but too much fire power from Milwaukee will give them a nice lead by the fifth inning and from there, the trio of Takashi Saito, Francisco Rodriguez and John Axford will shut the door on the Cardinals. Plus, until the Brewers loose at home, you have to believe they will find a way to get it done.
