The NFL's Most Clutch Quarterbacks- Present

Most Clutch Quarterbacks
Clutch can mean many different things. Clutch can mean leading your team on a two minute drill to tie the game in the 4th quarter. Clutch can mean throwing for two touchdowns in the 4th quarter of a one score game in the Super Bowl. Clutch can mean threading the needle on a 3rd and 10 to seal the game in the playoffs. All things considered, here are the 10 quarterbacks who come through the most and the best in the clutch.

Tom Brady, NE
Tom Brady, New England PatriotsI can take the argument that Brady's "clutchness" may be slipping, but I give you this. In Super Bowl 42, he led what would've been a game winning touchdown drive. This year, he has led two game winning drives with the Patriots down and out to quality football teams. We know Brady has been clutch in the past, but the question was whether he was still the same clutch quarterback now and the answer is, yes.

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints- Brees has that ability a guy like Brady has where he can be terrible for three and a half quarters but turn it on and lead his Saints to a victory, no matter the circumstance. Brees was sensational in Super Bowl 44, completely nearly every pass in the second half in their comeback win over the Colts.

Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers- Big Ben is a safe bet when the game is on the line because he has proven year in and year out that he will make that big throw on third down, or lead a game winning touchdown drive in the Super Bowl like he did against Arizona three years ago.

Eli Manning, New York Giants- He led perhaps the greatest game winning drive in the history of the NFL and he proved again this year against the Patriots that he is still capable of winning big games even when down late in the 4th quarter.

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay PackersI know that there isn't anyone better than Rodgers right now, but let me explain why he is fifth in this category. He hasn't come through in a big time clutch moment like the four guys ahead of him have. So once he does that, of course he will shoot up this list, but for now, he ranks fifth.

Peyton Manning, Indianapolis ColtsManning is not the same quarterback in the postseason as he is in the regular season, but that doesn't mean he won't lead a game winning touchdown drive in a big game. That being said, he hasn't been consistent enough in the clutch to crack the top five.

Joe Flacco, BAL
Joe Flacco, Baltimore RavensFlacco isn't very prolific at this point in his career, but for a guy who hasn't even been in the league five years, he has thrown big touchdown passes and won big playoff games; more than veterans have won in their entire career.

Matt Ryan, Atlanta FalconsI think Matt Ryan has been outstanding in clutch situations in the regular season. But he hasn't shown that he is the same quarterback in the playoffs, which places him 8th for now.

Matt Hasselbeck, Tennessee TitansHasselbeck is on the down side of his career, but he is still playing at a pretty high level and he has been in big games before, which means I would take him over say a Phillip Rivers if the game was on the line.

10 Tim Tebow, Denver BroncosAlright this is more of a joke, but seriously, Tebow is a clutch quarterback.
