The NFL's Most Prolific Quarterbacks- Present

Most Prolific Quarterbacks
My meaning of prolific is based off the stat EPA (Expected Points Added) which basically is who puts the most points on the board and who is the most explosive. Prolific also means the toughest to stop and gameplan for as well.
Aaron Rodgers, GB

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay PackersHis EPA this year is 184 which is at an all time level. No one has been more difficult to slow down in the past year than Aaron Rodgers.

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints- Brees has finished in the top two in each of the past three seasons in EPA, which means that he has to be at least somewhere in the top two.

Tom Brady, New England PatriotsBrady can take over games as well as anyone in NFL history and he is still playing at an extremely high level, ranking third in EPA in 2011.

Peyton Manning, Indianapolis ColtsIt's very tough for me to put Manning fourth, but the fact is that he did not have nearly as stellar of a 2010 season as he had in 2009 and he has missed all of 2011 thus far.

Tony Romo, Dallas CowboysWhen Romo is on his game, he is a threat to easily put up 300 yards and throw for 3 touchdowns. His EPA of 85.2 in 2011 ranks fourth.

Phillip Rivers, San Diego ChargersRivers has been a huge disappointment in 2011, but his consistent ranking in the top three over the past two seasons means he is a threat to slice up your defense on any giving Sunday.

Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers- Big Ben won't exactly put up huge numbers week in and week out, but very quietly, he always seems to in the upper echelon in terms of EPA, ranking 5th so far in 2011.
Matthew Stafford, DET

Matthew Stafford, Detroit LionsStafford is a new comer to this list, but his performance so far in 2011 proves he can light it up; his 26 touchdowns rank second.

Cam Newton, Carolina PanthersNewton is another new comer, but he has already proven that he is and will be Michael Vick 2.0, a new prototype of a quarterback with a big arm who can kill your defense with his legs.

10 Michael Vick, Philadelphia EaglesVick, like Phillip Rivers, has slipped. But I'm sure that no team in the NFL takes Vick lightly when they play him and his Eagles.
