What separates the Pro Bowl centers like Alex Mack, Nick Mangold, Jeff Saturday and Ryan Kalil is that they not only provide great blocking, they provide that leadership that allows their team to have success on offense. Jeff Saturday is a perfect example because he is almost as important to the Colts in terms of leadership as Peyton Manning is. Right now, Mack is the best center in the NFL because of his ability to handle big nose guards like Haloti Ngata and Casey Hampton on a consistent basis.
