2011 NFL Offensive Tackle Rankings- Preseason

Top 20
20 Matt Light, New England Patriots
19 Joe Staley, San Francisco 49ers
Michael Roos
18 Roger Saffold, St. Louis Rams
17 Jeff Backus, Detroit Lions
16 Sebastian Vollmer, New England Patriots
15 Michael Oher, Baltimore Ravens
14 David Stewart, Tennessee Titans
13 Michael Roos, Tennessee Titans
12 Doug Free, Dallas Cowboys
11 Jordan Gross, Carolina Panthers
10 Marcus McNeil, San Diego Chargers
9 Andrew Whitworth, Cincinnati Bengals
8 Tyson Clabo, Atlanta Falcons
7 Marshal Yanda, Baltimore Ravens
6 D'Brickashaw Fergerson, New York Jets

All of these guys are really good at their job. It's very tough to decipher who is better because there aren't any real stats to determine that. But all of these guys are solid blocks on their respective teams.

Jake Long
Top 5
5 Eric Winston, Houston Texans
4 Jason Peters, Philadelphia Eagles
3 Ryan Clady, Denver Broncos
2 Joe Thomas, Cleveland Browns
1 Jake Long, Miami Dolphins

All five of these guys have separated themselves from the other tackles. Specifically, Jake Long and Joe Thomas are starting to put themselves in the conversation of better offensive tackles of all time. They're great to watch because they dominate the trenches, it's just too bad their teams aren't very good right now.
