2011 NFL Corner Back Rankings- Preseason

Brandon Carr
Top 25
25 Josh Wilson, Washington Redskins
24 Leigh Bodden, New England Patriots
23 DeAngelo Hall, Washington Redskins
22 Aquib Talib, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
21 Sean Smith, Miami Dolphins
20 Antoine Cason, San Diego Chargers
19 Brandon Carr, Kansas City Chiefs
18 Dunta Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
17 Vontae Davis, Miami Dolphins
16 Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie,
Philadelphia Eagles
Brent Grimes
15 Cortland Finnegan, Tennessee Titans
14 Antoine Winfield, Minnesota Vikings
13 Brent Grimes, Atlanta Falcons
12 Antonio Cromartie, New York Jets
11 Joe Haden, Cleveland Browns

A cornerback can do his job 9 out of 10 times, and on the 1 time he doesn't do his job and gets beat, he is labeled as poor corner. These guys get beat at times, but they still make enough plays to put themselves amongst the best.

Darrelle Revis
Top 10
10 Champ Bailey, Denver Broncos
9 Jonathan Joseph, Houston Texans
8 Leon Hall, Cincinnati Bengals
7 Asante Samuel, Philadelphia Eagles
6 Devin McCourty, New England Patriots
5 Tramon Williams, Green Bay Packers
4 Brandon Flowers, Kansas City Chiefs
3 Charles Woodson, Green Bay Packers
2 Nnamdi Asomugha, Philadelphia Eagles
1 Darrelle Revis, New York Jets

Any of these guys are capable of putting games away with their interceptions. But only a few of these guys are real lock down corners. Actually, only two of them are, Nnamdi Asomugha and Darrelle Revis can shut down anyone in the league. That being said, I would take any of these guys on my team.
